Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with CrowdBuilder and this website.

Last updated 7 September 2026

This policy sets the boundaries for using CrowdBuilder and this website. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breaking it is a breach of those terms.

1. Who this applies to

Everyone who uses CrowdBuilder or this website: your organisation, your users, and anyone acting on your behalf. If you give someone access, you are responsible for what they do with it.

2. What you must not do

You must not use CrowdBuilder or this website to:

  • Break the law, infringe someone's intellectual property, or violate someone's privacy.
  • Build or distribute malware, ransomware, or tooling whose purpose is to gain unauthorised access to systems you do not own or have permission to test.
  • Attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer our website or infrastructure, or anyone else's.
  • Process personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or feed it into a model provider in breach of your own obligations.
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation.
  • Generate or distribute material that is unlawful, or that harasses, defames or endangers people.
  • Resell, sublicense or provide CrowdBuilder as a service to third parties without our written agreement.

3. Governance controls stay on

CrowdBuilder exists to keep AI-driven delivery inside policy. Deliberately defeating that defeats the point of the product, so you must not:

  • Disable, bypass or tamper with policy gates, approval steps or execution boundaries.
  • Circumvent budget enforcement, spend caps or quota controls.
  • Alter, truncate or forge audit log entries, or interfere with the integrity of the audit trail.
  • Suppress or work around quality gates and vulnerability scanning to push unreviewed output onward.

Configuring these controls for your own environment is expected and encouraged. Falsifying their results is not.

4. Using the AI features responsibly

  • Review generated output before you rely on it, ship it, or put it in front of customers.
  • Do not present AI-generated output as human-authored where that would mislead someone who needs to know the difference.
  • Keep to the terms of any model provider you connect. Their rules apply to your prompts and your usage.
  • Do not use the platform to generate output designed to deceive, defraud or manipulate people.

5. This website

Use the demo request form for genuine enquiries. Do not use it to send bulk, automated or unsolicited messages, to submit someone else's personal data without a lawful basis, or to attempt injection or abuse of any kind.

6. If this policy is broken

We may suspend or withdraw access where use breaches this policy, and we will tell you why. Where the breach is serious, such as an active attack, unlawful activity, or a risk to other people, we may act immediately.

Because CrowdBuilder runs on your own infrastructure, we do not monitor your deployment and cannot see what happens inside it. Enforcement follows from what is reported to us or what we are told, not from surveillance of your environment.

7. Reporting abuse

Report misuse of CrowdBuilder or of this website to legal@waybound.ai. For security vulnerabilities, see the Security section instead.

Written to be read and understood rather than to be exhaustive. If you need contractual certainty for a specific situation, ask us and we will put it in writing.
